The 10th edition of the Vendée Globe sets sail from Les Sables d’Olonne in France on 10 November 2024. The round the world, non stop, solo race has attracted a record number of competitors from all over the world, including Team Malizia’s skipper Boris Herrmann.
In 2020/21 Boris Herrmann made history as the first ever German to compete in the Vendée Globe, finishing in an impressive fifth place. The new Malizia - Seaexplorer boat, launched in July 2022, has since raced more than three times around the world in solo, double-handed and crewed modes. This blend of experience and nautical miles makes Boris Herrmann a strong contender in the Vendée Globe 2024.
