Alex de Minaur (Australia, ATP 7) and Hubert Hurkacz (Poland, ATP 9) lead the rankings and they are joined by Stefanos Tsitsipas (Greece, ATP 11), Tommy Paul (USA, ATP 13), Felix Auger-Aliassime (Canada, ATP 18) and two newly registered players, Ugo Humbert (France, ATP 16) and Nicolas Jarry (Chile, ATP 20).
The tournament also announced the return of Matteo Berrettini, (Italy, ATP 65) the former Gstaad champion who is finding his form once more. Swiss interests are represented by popular three-time Grand Slam winner Stan Wawrinka (ATP 93) and local favourite Dominic Stricker (ATP 153), who delighted the crowds last year with their sensational triumph in the doubles.
In his official tournament magazine welcome, Giorgio Pradelli, CEO, reinforced the quality of the line-up: “The EFG Swiss Open Gstaad consistently attracts some of the best players in the men’s game and this year is no exception. Each year, we watch in awe as they combine precision, skill and resilience in pursuit of an outstanding performance, all qualities we admire and aspire to share at EFG. We are delighted to be the title sponsor.”
We look forward to another spectacular week of tennis in Gstaad.
